The role
TVCs, brand films, social verticals, campaign titles and end-frames — you'd be making the motion work that goes out across broadcast and social for brands including Chery, Tecno, Talabat and Holdal.
Pomelo works on a one-shoot-forty-cuts model. A single production day feeds a TVC, a set of verticals, and the performance ad creative. That means your work isn't decoration at the end of a process — it's how most of the output actually gets made, and you'd be involved from the brief rather than receiving files at the end.
Over 100 million views came out of this room last year. The next set is the job.
We use AI to remove the boring parts of the process, not the thinking. The taste is still the job.
Why Pomelo
- Six disciplines, one building. Brand, web, video, social, paid, SEO. Most projects use three or four together, and you'd sit next to the people doing the rest.
- Iraq's brands, not Iraq's budgets. Tecno, Talabat, Al Mouyassar, Xiaomi, Holdal, Chery. The client list is why people stay.
- Erbil and Baghdad, working in three languages. Everything we make is built natively in Kurdish, Arabic and English, not translated afterwards.
What we need
- 2+ years in motion design, with a reel that shows range — not five variations of one style.
- Fluent in After Effects. Cinema 4D, Blender or equivalent 3D is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Familiar with AI tools in a motion pipeline — generative video, upscaling, rotoscoping, background removal — and using them to move faster without the output looking generated.
- Comfortable working to brand guidelines and to broadcast delivery specs.
- Arabic and Kurdish typography in motion is a genuine advantage.
- Kurdish or Arabic plus working English. Reel required.
- Based in Erbil or able to relocate before starting.
